In the series "Visiting", we are always drawn to various specialist shops, wholesalers or manufacturers. This time we were in the Upper Palatinate, more precisely in Schwarzenfeld, near Regenburg and Nuremberg. We found an excellent specialist shop. As usual, we documented this with pictures and video.
The section On the Road - and Visiting dates back to 1999. Time and again we visit specialist retailers and wholesalers and take a virtual look at what they have to offer. Now we are near Zurich, more precisely in Oetwil an der Limmat. Of course, there was a detailed video interview with Urs Landis, the owner of AQULA Switzerland.
We visited Atakan Sever in Cologne years ago. Moreover, something new has just been developed there, so another road trip was due. Aqua Tropica now offers a very well programmed online shop, where you can also configure your aquarium along with the necessary technology. The water laboratory "AquaCHECK" with instructions in case of deviations does the rest. But see for yourself.
After Stuttgart, where the pond and seawater plant construction was very interesting, we went straight on to Kölle Zoo in Ludwigshafen. For the time being, this was to be our last visit to a large adventure market. After 5 exhausting, but at the same time very interesting weeks, here is the conclusion of the series. In Ludwigshafen we actually got a vet in front of the camera :-) Have fun with it.
After many visits to various Kölle Zoo branches, I finally went to the main store in Stuttgart today. I was very excited because I was going to meet Thilo Schwarz there. He has been building plants for a long time; freshwater, marine and pond plants are his speciality. It was very interesting because we were able to see and document a real pond and seawater system. Immediately after our visit to Kölle Zoo Weiterstadt, we went on to Kölle Zoo in Frankfurt. There we found the largest and I think also the most beautiful selection of corals so far, wonderful. :-)
