The visit to Kölle Zoo Munich is the first in a series of visits to the specialist stores of the Kölle Zoo Group. This section on travel and visits has been around since 2001 and is intended to show interested readers in advance what to expect.
Our road trip to the big pet shops of the Kölle Zoo
.For many years, starting as early as 2001, we have maintained the column On the Road - Visiting. There we documented visits to specialist shops, but also to larger pet shops. This was all at a time when there was hardly any video documentation, and often not even a company website. Times have changed, of course, thanks to YouTube and Facebook, and many photos and videos are now posted online. Nevertheless, as a consumer I always find it great to have a picture of the business beforehand. Then I know what to expect.
Since we have often read various reservations against large chains in some forums, the idea matured in me to try it out for myself. So a trip to some of the Kölle Zoo Group's specialist stores to see what it looks like there and what competence can be found there.
I want to try it out.
Now I want to share this with you. As usual, we have documented it with pictures and video.
And here we go.
And here we go with our visit to Munich, we will add a visit to Nuremberg and Würzburg in the next few days. It was a mega tour but also mega exciting.
On the Kölle Zoo page you can find the following description of the market in München:
The Kölle Zoo in Munich is conveniently located in München-Pasing in the Westkreuz Center at Stockacher Straße 5 next to Radlbauer and is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm. Free parking is available directly in front of the building.
The pet store in Stockacher Straß is home to around 20,000 animals of various species on over 2,000 m
.Our Münchner team informs dog and cat owners all about BARFing. Our experts will be happy to help you with any questions you may have. Our BARF range includes frozen meat, vegetable flakes, nutritional supplements, oils and various natural snacks for your four-legged friend. The aim of barfing is to provide a very natural diet.
So much for the slogan from Munich.
We took some photos ourselves, of course :-)
Most of the time, a large koi pond awaits gardening enthusiasts in the entrance area of the Kölle Zoo branches. Let yourself be surprised: the video also includes a large koi area.
Of course, such a large adventure market also has many other things, such as fresh water, plants, small animals, rodents, etc., but there is also a lot of food. Cat and dog food, everything you would expect to find there. Above all, the fact that they also offer food that takes the health of the animals into account and that they offer it without flavour enhancers, sugar or grains is very consumer-friendly and fully in tune with the times.
As usual, we have taken a few pictures which we show below, all pictures for the article can be found in the picture gallery.
And now, of course, to the most important, the seawater section:
I found some things interesting that I didn't expect at the first moment.
There are lots of system or complete aquariums on display. You can therefore get a very good idea of what you are looking at beforehand. Those who like it larger will also find professional aquarium construction.
The sale of German offspring of corals and also fish is written really BIG here. Especially corals for beginners can be found here, even as a nano version for the right target group. Special import corals, on the other hand, I only found in smaller quantities.
Since the area of "nano-reefers" is growing more and more, the offer to buy fresh osmosis water and seawater in small quantities is quite ingenious. Especially for customers who only use a little and don't want to buy their own osmosis system, it's a good solution.
Did you know that Kölle Zoo has a 100-day right of return, but I do not. I find that very customer-friendly.
But the best thing I found was the best price guarantee that every Kölle Zoo gives.
These great words mean nothing other than that the Kölle Zoo agrees to the lowest price, even 14 days after the purchase. To do this, please only bring the printout of the page from the net, then nothing can go wrong. So no Internet is always cheaper :-)
.Since it is well known that a video is much more meaningful than a thousand pictures, here is the video in the form of an interview.
