A visit to Kölle Zoo in Nuremberg

After our first visit in the morning to the Kölle Zoo in Munich, we went on to the Kölle Zoo in N  Nürnberg on the same day, so that the name Road Trip fits the series :-) 

On the Kölle Zoo website they inform themselves with the following words.

The Kölle Zoo Adventure Market in Nürnberg is conveniently located in Nürnberg-St. Leonhard in Konstanzenstraß at the corner of Tillypark and Geisseestraß and is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm. Free parking is available directly in front of the building.

Around 20,000 animals of various species cavort in an exotic ambience on around 2,000 m².

In our Lottis Häppchen-Shop you will find everything about BARFing: Frozen meat, vegetable flakes, nutritional supplements and natural snacks for your four-legged friend.

The Nuremberg specialist market with veterinary practice, barf shop (Lottis Häppchen) "Wolfshunger" and koi show pond offers animal lovers numerous highlights. The comprehensive range of pet food and accessories leaves nothing to be desired. Alongside aquaristics, garden ponds, dogs, cats, birds and small animals, terraristics is one of the many specialist areas of Kölle-Zoo.

Here we have of course done the same as in Müchen. A lot of pictures and a video in the form of an interview !

Just after the entrance, a koi pond awaits you here as well, inviting you to look, füttern.

Of course the most interesting part for us is the seawater section, so have fun with the following pictures and the video. Many pictures can be found after the video, or completely in the attached picture gallery.

In the saltwater department, Manuel Boxheimer was available to talk to us, as was Matthew for the koi section. I think they were both very competent in their answers.
