Meerwasser Böttcher - major reconstruction in 2021

A little piece of history - documented with 3 videos from the years 2018, 2020 and 2021! It all began in 1986 with a small specialist marine aquatics shop in Pulheim-Sinnersdorf near Cologne: on a sales area of around 100 square metres, our customers found everything they needed for aquaristics - from aquariums to accessories. Several sales units for corals and saltwater fish as well as a 1,000-litre show tank rounded off the range of products.

Due to our growing customer base and the expansion of our range of products, it soon became soon became cramped in our former location. Thanks to the coincidence that we were able to rent a 400 square metre shop just 50 metres could be rented by us. Now there was also space for a new, larger show tank & a new new sales facility for soft and large polyp stony corals. Due to the great demand for small polyp stony corals (SPS), we put another stony coral facility into operation. In 2006 we again became too cramped, so that in 2007 we relocated once again, namely to our current address. Today customers can find everything a marine aquarist needs in our shop. needs. On 900 square metres of sales and storage space, we offer - in addition to competent advice - aquariums, accessories, marine fish, corals, accessories.., corals, accessories... everything is almost always in stock on site.
