Visible characteristics of infections with skin trichomes are whitish-grey to dark, velvety coatings or barely visible spots, which in the later stages extend to the gills, fins and the entire body. The gills protrude and the fish shows increased respiratory activity until respiratory distress.
PROTOMOR is a medicinal product for ornamental fish against skin turbidity such as Oodinium ocellatum (coral fish disease), Cryptobia, Brooklynella, Trichodina and Cryptocaryon.
PROTOMOR is mainly used in the early stages of disease and mild illnesses and is harmless to invertebrates such as corals, anemones, snails, mussels.
