Filter basins made of acrylic are usually much more expensive than those made of glass. However, they are less sensitive and significantly lighter. They also offer more options against water evaporation, depending on the manufacturer and type. Here we present the Ocean Jump from Dupla Marin.

Ocean Sump 5-chamber filter systems have a variety of innovative features that make connection, operation and ongoing maintenance and cleaning much easier. Depending on the model, all Ocean Sump filter systems are equipped with one or two filter containers with matching mesh bags in which different filter materials, such as zeolite or filter carbon, can be used. Electrode holders, as well as connection lines incl. hose connections for dosing solutions are also available for all models.

By means of a water level regulator, the optimum water level of the skimmer chamber can be comfortably adjusted to the respective skimmer used (protein skimmer) and thus optimise the skimmer performance. All models are also equipped with a refill container and can therefore be easily retrofitted with an automatic refill system. Depending on the model, the filter systems have a 32 mm or 50 mm inlet. Ocean Sump filter systems are offered in three different sizes.
