Once again we were on an interesting house visit: Our 3rd visit to Fish and More in Mudersbach near Siegen has of course again been captured in a video. 1.5 hours of question and answer.
A little piece of history - documented with 3 videos from the years 2018, 2020 and 2021! It all began in 1986 with a small specialist marine aquatics shop in Pulheim-Sinnersdorf near Cologne: on a sales area of around 100 square metres, our customers found everything they needed for aquaristics - from aquariums to accessories. Several sales units for corals and saltwater fish as well as a 1,000-litre show tank rounded off the range of products.
Now the time had come, the new acrylic tank from NEW WAVE has arrived. The old one has to go and the animals have to go back. Here you can see how Thomas from Münster solved the problem. His moving plan is also interesting further on in the video! With that, not much can go wrong. But see for yourself.
It was that time again. A special house visit was on the agenda. We visited our vlogger colleague Daniel Manns (Vipers Meerwasser) in Viersen at the beginning of December 2020. In the past few years, we have visited many Kölle Zoo shops in Germany. And now our road trip in terms of "big pet stores" continues. This time we were at the Kölle Zoo branch in Esslingen. It is currently the newest Kölle Zoo of the 16 German and 5 Austrian branches. You can see what awaited us there in the video. In February we visited Markus Gerhardus in Mudersbach near Siegen. He operates his seawater systems completely differently from other competitors (without skimming) and is very successful. It was that time again. A special house visit was on the agenda. Dominik Laux has a 2000-litre reef aquarium and his love is above all for fish. He has some great and rare species in his 250 cm long reef. You can find out more in the video
It was that time again and there was a great seawater aquarium to visit. There is probably no better documented seawater tank than Martin's, which he maintains in great detail on his personal blog. We were very happy to be allowed to shoot there. Have fun with the 4,500-litre seawater facility.
Once again we were on the road. This time we went to Ulm to visit Alex Ihle and then to Dennis Langbecker at his "The Montis Club" in Kirchheim unter Teck. Of course, we made a video about Dennis' facility.

We were already drawn to Achim Kahlert at the end of February. He has been a seawater aquarist for many years and breeds one or two animals. For example, he has already succeeded in breeding the tang filefish. But this is only a part of what he has already achieved with fish. Just have a look and enjoy the video.
You know how it is. We are always drawn to aquarists to learn more about their reef aquariums. And so it was to a really great saltwater aquarium which has approx. 560 litres (with filter compartment).
