Dr. Ben Funk was available for an interview at the ATI stand. The main topic was the quite new EPO Reef, which can be used quite easily for a reef construction. It really couldn't be any simpler. In addition, there was interesting information about the Essentials pro.
This is how marketing can work... while other exhibitors came along in the usual uniform white, Fauna had a black tent, lots of black light, great works of art on the wall that shone and of course the usual great corals and the well-known accessories. This stand was really something special, but it was hard to film with normal equipment. Therefore, a mobile phone with a filter had to be used.
We continue with reporting from the Fisch & Reptil in Sindelfinden. At Lisa's Koralle there was a very interesting project to see, namely how a filter basin and the drainage shaft can look optimally. The solution was a transparent system with components from Royal Exclusiv. Then we went to Korallen und Meer and Korallen Outlet.
Where we were used to beautiful Ricordeas, this time we saw really beautiful Zoa crusts, as well as Mushroom Bubbles and Co. We thought that was great, so we also took two Zoa offshoots with us.
ARKA had a veritable firework of products at the start. There were new media filters, backpack technology for people without technical basins, hang-on systems and more. ARKA also launches colour filters for blue light photography with the MY REEF Studio.
On the last weekend in November - from 30.11 - 02.12 - the 18th Fisch & Reptil will take place in Sindelfingen near Stuttgart. We give a first overview of the seawater symposium, the seawater evening and of course the fair itself. It is simply a very nice meeting place for us hobbyists, whether freshwater, marine or reptile fans.
It is always the highlight of the year, the Fisch & Reptil with its AquaTerra Symposium, as well as the evening event. We captured the relevant things on video, including the new Giesemann Gemini and the new SunMotion from Aquaconnect.
Just a week to go, then it's time. The 17th edition of Fisch & Reptil is coming up. And with it, of course, a great programme for freshwater and marine aquatics, as well as terraristics. We now have the latest news on the fair from Faunamarin, Preis Aquaristik and Korallentreff. All the companies are already looking forward to it.

15,000 enthusiastic visitors at the „Fisch & Reptil“! Here you can find the report on the fair. The Aqua-Terra Symposium is now probably the meeting par excellence for dedicated marine aquarists in Germany. Besides the already published videos, there were of course other things. Stephan Moldzio was an exhibitor with Green Corals in the gallery. He was also available for a presentation on the Reefcheck programme.
Boris Bielan was there for the first time as an exhibitor. The specialist shop Natural Reef Design comes from Dachau near Munich and offers high-end aquaristics, including plant construction, plant maintenance etc. etc.
PAM Aquaristik was also there for the first time. A professional supplier for coral breeding. Here was an interesting video with their thermoplastic coral glue PAM GLUE.
Finally I managed to get Marcus Weidemann from Korallenzucht Karlsruhe to talk to me. This resulted in beautiful pictures and a video interview, also because of the new Ocean Ceramics.
Aqualeds is already quite well known and has been at the Kölle Zoo stand for years. Of course, we have also shot a small video here again. You can't report often enough about good and shapely LED lighting :-)
