A temporary position for a

Aquarium and Terrarium Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

to be staffed at the Vivarium.

Tasks:

The activities of the assistance mainly cover the clearing of provisional storage areas, the structuring of the new warehousing and various reconstruction actions in the course of the implementation of the new fire protection concept of the SMNK. In addition, the assistance is responsible for the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the aquarium and terrarium facilities, as well as for organising the chemical and physical analysis of water parameters and the addition of macro and trace elements.

Requirements:

Knowledge in aquarium technology and in measuring water samples. A reliable, well-structured way of working is required. Training in a technical profession is an advantage.

Duration and remuneration:

The position is initially limited to one year, the permanent employment of an aquarium technical assistant is planned. Remuneration is according to TV-L BW.
