Interzoo 2022: Momentum of new registrations from all over the world

Wiesbaden - Only three months to go until the next physical Interzoo in Nuremberg: the world's leading exhibition for the pet industry is delighted to welcome more new exhibitor registrations.

"In the past three weeks, we have received 54 new registrations - 9 of them from Germany and 45 international ones. This means that more than 1,300 exhibitors from over 60 countries have registered for our world's leading trade fair for the pet industry. We know from many of them that they are eager to finally be able to present their new products in real life," explains Gordon Bonnet, Managing Director of WZF (Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH).

Although the currently still high corona incidence figures in Germany understandably cause a feeling of uncertainty, the current figures and scientific forecasts show that the crest of the wave will soon be reached or has already been passed. This means that the signs are soon pointing again to relaxation and unencumbered physical meetings. This is also felt by WZF GmbH as organiser of Interzoo, which will welcome visitors and exhibitors from all over the world at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from 24 to 27 May 2022.

In the last few days, there have been isolated queries from exhibitors about security and entry conditions. "We are doing everything we can to ensure that Interzoo is attractive, safe and successful for all participants," assures Gordon Bonnet, "and I am convinced that we will succeed! Our security concept enables face-to-face discussions with industry colleagues, worthwhile new business contacts, experiencing with all senses, the pleasure of meeting and getting to know one another, discovering trends and inspiration for one's own business."
"In addition to the discussions at the exhibition stands, Interzoo offers a varied supporting programme," adds Dr. Rowena Arzt, Head of Exhibitions at WZF. "Topical lectures on the most pressing issues facing the industry today and tomorrow broaden and sharpen the view of developments and trends in times of change. Visiting Interzoo on site enables you to do that and much more."

"Our sustainable hygiene concept, which we developed together with experts from the Free State of Bavaria and the local health authorities, has already proven its worth in past events," says Heinz Prießmann, responsible for security and logistics management at NürnbergMesse. "It covers the entire exhibition centre, from the generously planned and contactless access concept to the state-of-the-art ventilation systems in our halls and a wide range of hygiene measures such as hygiene dispensers and continuous disinfection throughout the site. In this way, we create a safe environment for our exhibitors and all visitors."

In principle, trade fair participants can enter Germany from abroad without any problems. The German government has defined participation in a trade fair as an "absolutely necessary business trip" and has currently linked it to proof of 3G.

Inversely, the Interzoo team will travel from Germany to the USA and will be represented with its own stand at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida from 23 to 25 March (stand number 1304).
